You say you're bad with remembering dates.
You forget birthdays,
You forget your anniversary,
You forget all about the kid's 1st party.

You say you're bad with dates,
But you remember exactly the day,

You await the day of release of the EPIC movie.

You say you're bad with dates,
But you remember exactly the day your posting ends,
That the day of the exam is not far,
About your important seminar,
Or that appointment for the servicing of the car.

Its not that you're bad with dates.
It’s just that you don’t put in the effort it takes,
To register a date as IMPORTANT,
To wish them the best, give them the time it takes.

All I’m saying is that you're not bad with dates;
You just haven't really prioritized what all is at stake.
